MATERIALS ADVANTAGE UW CHAPTER

Materials Advantage is an umbrella organization encompassing the professional organizations listed to the right. The UW Student Chapter is committed to the education and involvement of students at every level to the field of Materials Science and Engineering.

 

Every first Tuesday of each month there is an ASM dinner where students can meet local professionals to network and socialize, not to mention eat delicious food! We also arrange tours with local engineering companies to help students gain understanding of what a career in materials science looks like.

 

Our outreach programs are focused towards Mathematics, Engineering, and Science Achievements for youths and those in community college. The demonstrations provide an exciting insight on different materials' properties, and real life experiences of Materials Science and Engineering.
